Girl Power Friday!

Happy Girl Power Friday!! Up first? Lainey Wilson – Dirty Looks. “Dirty Looks” is a love story built around a clever play on words — she and her lover are getting dirty looks from strangers as they paw at one another in public, but she also wants this blue-collar man to know dirty looks good on him Fun Fact: In high school, Wilson got work as a Hannah Montana impersonator.

Up next? Maddie and Tae: Die From A Broken Heart. They have announced plans for their second album The Way It Feels, which is set for release on April 10th. In 2019, Maddie & Tae spent last year touring with Carrie and this year touring with Lady A!

Up next Alissa Griffith: Glasses! She is from the Golden State, specifically Laguna Beach. Now residing in Nashville and combining her love of classic pop with country soul, Griffith’s debut single, “Glasses,” She was featured on Spotify’s New Boots playlist and has been streamed more than 2 million times.

Let’s finish the night with Kelsea Ballerini! A new  album will be available in time for spring 2020. Titled simply Kelsea, the singer-songwriter’s third full-length arrives March 20th. She tweeted about woman being played in country radio as well: “I am grateful. BUT. There is still inequality in airplay for women. And it’s my job to say it out loud and post about it, because of the girls moving to Nashville that are ready to outrun and outwork and outplay everyone. They deserve to know that they have the same shot as the guys moving here to do the same.”
