Girl Power Friday

We had some amazing songs for Girl Power Friday!

Maren Morris ft Vince Gill – Dear Hate

The first time she put out this song it was for the 2015 Charleston Church and the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival in Vegas which killed more than 50 people.  And now as riots unleash violence around the nation, the song is back on her mind.

Kelsea Ballerini – Hole In The Bottle

This is from the album: Kelsea. Written by Kelsea, Jesse Frasure, Hillary Lindsey, Ashley Gorley and Steph Jones. This new tune is the third single from Kelsea’s 2020 self-titled album, following “Homecoming Queen,” and “The Other Girl,” with Halsey

Mackenzie Porter – These Days

“It’s funny right now because we’re all stuck at home and life has really changed, It’s just a song that people are, seem to be drawn to.” – Mackenzie

Written by Porter, Jordan Sapp and Parker Welling, the song is about reminiscing on the days when she was with a past love, which included a ’98 Chevrolet, fake IDs, dive bars, back streets, and other moments. The song has also made it’s way to Tik Tok as well! She had anticipated releasing an album this summer. Those plans have changed due to the pandemic

Ingrid Andress – The Stranger

From the album: Lady Like and written by Andress and Ryan Lafferty. The song talks about a person’s longing for the simple, innocent, head-over-heels sparks between a couple when they started dating. Her Album Lady Like became the highest streaming country female debut album of all time.
