Luke Combs’ Son Tex Makes Adorable Cameo on Set of “WHY” Music Video with Jon Bellion

Luke Combs recently teamed up with Jon Bellion for the heartfelt track “WHY,” and the music video shoot turned into a family affair when Combs’ young son, Tex, visited the set. In a behind-the-scenes moment shared on social media, Combs says he received “tips” from Tex during the filming, adding a personal touch to the collaboration.

The song, which delves into themes of fatherhood and the emotional complexities of love, resonates deeply with both artists. Bellion penned “WHY” just 48 hours before the birth of his first son, capturing the anxieties and joys of impending parenthood. Combs, a father of two, connected with the song’s message, stating, “With me having two sons of my own and knowing how much I love them and how big of a role they play in my ‘why,’ it was a no-brainer.”

The music video, directed by Alex Palumbo, was filmed at Southern Ground in Nashville, TN, and features intimate moments interspersed with clips of Bellion’s family, highlighting the song’s personal significance.

“WHY” is featured on Bellion’s upcoming album Father Figure, set to release on June 4. The album explores the multifaceted experiences of modern fatherhood, with collaborations that bring together diverse musical talents.
