Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman Co-Hosts On “The Talk”

Patton Oswalt and Meredith Salenger are being criticized for getting engaged 15 months after his wife Michelle McNamara died. Guest co-host, Little Big Town singer Kimberly Schlapman, opens up about losing her own husband and finding new love nine months later. She reveals “I began a spark with an old friend, and 100%, I’m so sure of this, that my new husband was sent to me from heaven by my late husband… He was up there saying ‘She needs somebody to love her, and give her a baby too…’ and we got pregnant on my honeymoon.” Sara Gilbert shares, “I’ve known Meredith since we were teenagers… their whole circle of friends and his late wife’s family have said that Meredith is, it was orchestrated from Michelle, and that there’s not a more perfect person for him, and also, not a more perfect person to help raise Alice.” An emotional Julie Chen adds, “I know Patton, and he’s a great guy, and he’s a great father to Alice… back off people.” Watch the clip here:
