Jelly Roll isn’t just known for his powerhouse vocals and raw storytelling, he’s also got a great sense of humor. While opening for Post Malone on the Big Ass Stadium Tour, the country star proved that he knows how to work a crowd in more ways than one.
During a recent performance of his upbeat track “Get By,” Jelly Roll paused mid-song to check in with the audience. “Y’all wanna see a fat man ride an imaginary pony?” he asked with a grin. The crowd instantly erupted with cheers, giving him approval for his next action.
Without missing a beat, Jelly Roll turned to the side and launched into the next verse, all while pretending to ride a horse. The moment that was captured and shared via TikTok, is just another example of why fans love him. Jelly Roll never fails to bring heart and humor wherever he goes, even if it means galloping across a stage on an invisible horse.

The comment section of the post was filled with fans commenting on how healthy the country singer looks following his major weight loss. Back in April he revealed he has officially lost nearly 200 lbs and the hard work is showing.
“You’re looking good congratulations,” one user wrote.
Another said, “He looks so healthy!”
Others called him an “inspiration.”

Being Open And Honest About His Weight Loss
In a previous discussion with CMT, Jelly Roll shared his excitement about hitting the road with Post Malone on the stadium trek especially now that he’s reached this point in his health journey. His comedic side shined once again as he found himself joking, “I’m wondering if I lose a little more weight and when I get to Italy, if they’re gonna mistake me for Post Malone.”
He joked that between his weight loss and their similar face tattoos, the mistaken identification is inevitable.
“You know what I mean? Like, if I get skinny enough that they just see face tattoos. They’re like, ’Post! Post!’”

Hoping To Inspire Others
In another conversation with his wife, Bunnie XO, the Tennessee native explained why it was important for him to share an open and honest look at this journey with the world. While putting his experience with weightless and all the highs and lows that come with it on display, he hopes to inspire others.
“I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanted to talk about it … This is constantly what I’m putting in the air because I want to bring people along with me.”
Post Malone and Jelly Roll officially launched the Big Ass Stadium Tour on April 29th in Salt Lake City. The tour, which celebrates Malone’s newest album F-1 Trillion, is set to run through July. “I go from ‘Old Time Rock & Roll’ to ‘Espresso,’ you won’t even see it coming,” he said.
The pair of artists united during Malone’s set to sing their collaboration “Losers” in front of the crowd.
