Welcome to another week’s edition of Girl Power Friday!! Here’s our features this week:
Ingrid Andress – Waste Of Lime
The song right here is a summer jam!! And you heard the nod to “Kokomo” right?? Love it! Shane McAnally was one of the co-writers and we already know everything he touches is musical gold itself! Fun fact: This is a social distancing-friendly music video too, and video director Lauren Dunn actually directed the entire video via Facetime!
Tenille Arts – Somebody Like That
She released an album titled: ‘Love, Heartbreak, & Everything in Between’, and it talks about the ups and downs of life. The song ‘Somebody Like That’. is on the album! If you recognize her, well that’s because she’s gained quite an audience following her performances on ABC’s ‘The Bachelor’.
Runaway June – We Were Rich
We LOVE the ladies of Runaway June! As you know, Hannah told them this year that she’s leaving the group and both Naomi Cooke and Jennifer Wayne had a decision to make. They told People Magazine if they were going to replace Hannah, only one person would come to mind: Natalie Stovall, who is a gifted musician in Nashville herself. Stovall said the decision was a “no-brainer.” We love this addition!!
Caylee Hammack – Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good ft. Alan Jackson
Caylee Hammack teamed up with Alan Jackson for her latest release, which is a cover of Don Williams’ “Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good.” from like 1981! This cover sounds amazing and definitely brings out the best soothing vocals for Hammack and Jackson!!
