Chris Lane and his wife Lauren Bushnell Lane are expecting baby number 3!
The “What Am I Supposed To Tell The Dog” singer and former The Bachelor contestant revealed the news on Thursday, May 29. In an adorable beachside video shared across social media, the couple is seen soaking up the sun with their sons, Dutton Walker and Baker West, who wore matching outfits for the occasion.
Lauren glowed in a butter yellow set that showed off her growing bump, smiling as Lane knelt to kiss her belly. They also wrote “#3” in the sand, marking the sweet moment as a family of four prepares to become five.
Their caption read, “Party of 5 coming this November! 
”
Their new bundle of joy will join their son, Dutton Walker Lane, who arrived in June 2021 and was named after a lead character in the hit TV series, Yellowstone. The pair then welcomed their second son, Baker West, in October of 2022. Chris Lane and Lauren Lane tied the knot in October of 2019.
Dutton will return to his third year of schooling this fall while Baker will attend for the very first time.
In another recent instagram post, Lauren shared that they recently took both boys out on the road for the first time and she “loved every minute of it.” Chris Lane is fresh off his time Rascal Flatts’ sold-out arena tour and is now preparing to release his brand-new album, Shade Tree on June 20.
Alongside the announcement of his new project, Lane also dropped the title track and accompanying music video. This 12-track collection marks his first full album since 2018’s Laps Around The Sun, which included 2X Platinum “Take Back Home Girl” and #1-charted “I Don’t Know About You.”
Fans can expect a slew of new music alongside four previously released songs including Lane’s current single making its way up the charts at country radio, “If I Die Before You,” the fan-favorite, “What Am I Supposed to Tell The Dog,” and his latest release, a duet with Abby Anderson titled, “Fire We Found.”

Chris Lane has several festival appearances on the books for the summer of 2025, including Nashville’s CMA Fest. He will appear on the Chevy Riverfront stage on Sunday June 8, and deliver a set list of career-spanning hits.
“I’ll probably just keep it to my straight up hits and that’s all I’ll have time for,” he told Country Now. “So just reminding people, ‘Hey, I know it’s been 11 years since I released ‘Fix,’ but I’m still out here doing it, and hopefully they can enjoy that.’”
