With CMA Fest 2025 just a few days away, the Country Music Association and ABC have just announced that “CMA Fest presented by SoFi” will air Thursday, June 26 at 8/7c on ABC, with streaming available on Hulu the following day.
The three-hour televised event will be filmed live from downtown Nashville during this year’s 52nd annual CMA Fest. Taking place from June 5-8, this year’s festival is set to bring some serious star power with Cody Johnson and Ashley McBryde tapped to co-host.

This will be McBryde’s second time hosting the special, while Johnson is stepping into the role for the first time. Together, they’ll guide viewers through a packed night of standout performances, major artist collaborations, and some of the best moments from the four-day festival.
The full performance lineup for the special is expected to drop in a few weeks, but viewers can expect a high-energy mix of country hitmakers, unforgettable pairings, and plenty of surprises along the way.
Produced by the Country Music Association, with longtime executive producer and writer Robert Deaton returning alongside director Alan Carter, “CMA Fest presented by SoFi” marks the 22nd straight year CMA has produced a summer concert TV special.

What started back in 1972 as Fan Fair® has grown into the biggest country music festival in the world, pulling in roughly 90,000 fans each day and spreading music across downtown Nashville’s biggest stages. For the past 50 years, CMA Fest has united every avenue of the country music community – from fans, artists and industry professionals – for four can’t miss days in the heart of Music City.
But it’s more than just a weekend of concerts. CMA Fest artists donate their time, turning their transforming their appearances into an opportunity to make a difference with proceeds supporting music education through the CMA Foundation.
So whether you’re attending in person or tuning in from home, the 2025 CMA Fest TV special is shaping up to be a must-see celebration of country music’s biggest week of the year.
