I took this photo on January 11th--Quin's birthday--immediately after he was promoted to Captain. I'm a proud #MilitaryMom 😊 When Quin went to Landstuhl, he was in the Army. A little over a year ago he transferred to the Space Force. I'm happy to say he will be coming back to the States soon. He'll be in Oregon in mid-June then will begin his new duty station at Vandenberg Space Force Base (California) in July. Thanks for honoring those who serve and have served.

This picture of my hero was taken April 16, 2011. This was one week after our son was born. SPC Brandon Paulton was in the airport leaving to go back to Afghanistan after his 2 week leave. This is one of my favorite photos of them. This photo brings back a lot of emotions. That was a very hard day. These pictures are of my brother SGT Norman "Punch" Tillman Sr. he was killed on February 15, 1995 while going through Army Ranger Training in Florida. I lost my best friend when he died. I was only 19 and was a senior in high school. At the time of his death he was 28 years old and left behind 3 kids a daughter that was 4 a son that was 7 and his baby boy was 15 months old. The kids have had to grow up without their dad and my sister n law has done a wonderful job raising them. - Tammy

He Decided to go in after we found out I was pregnant, thinking he'd still be here for her when she was born. Sadly, he left the same month she was born, 26 days earlier than she was. He was devastated that he'd miss the birth, but made a hard decision and still went in. I am home here in Lancaster, California with my 3 1/2 year old son and as of right now my 2 week old daughter waiting til July for us to fly to his graduation in South Carolina where he'll be able to finally meet his daughter and see his son and I once again. Then, 4 more months without us. November will be when he and his family will be reunited and we'll move to our first base. He is my hero for being able to be away from us to make it so he can serve his country as well as his family. We've only been married 2 years - Kristina
