Drew Baldridge has been dropping some major hints about his unreleased song titled “Get Me Gone.” In a series of social media videos, he’s been seen teasing that the track will be a collaboration with a mystery female artist and asking fans to guess whose voice they think it might be.
Back in May, he shared a snippet of the song and posed the question, “Should I put this song out? If you think I should… what female artist should I ask to be a feature on it?”
Now, in a more recent video featuring that same piece of the song, Baldridge confirmed that his fellow vocalist had just recorded the tune a couple hours ago. He once again prompted fans to “guess the female country artist that’s gonna sing on this song with me.”

Fans have made it clear in the comment section that they are eager to find out more information. Hundreds of users also shared which female voice they think can be heard behind Baldridge’s signature sound.
Many of the guesses included superstar female artists like Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Ashley McBryde or Ella Langley, however, others mentioned buzzed-about rising stars like Emily Ann Roberts, Ashley Cooke, Avery Anna and more.

While we have yet to learn who the talented female is, Emily Ann Roberts recently posted a video on her own page that could either be a clever hint for what’s to come or a sheer coincidence.
She wrote, “Just wondering when one of these cowboys is gonna ask me to do a duet with them?!?”
The post was hilariously set to Carl Carlton’s “She’s A Bad Mama Jama (She’s Built, She’s Built, She’s Stacked) with a caption that read, helloooo im definitely on the market !!!”
Until Drew Baldridge finally shares the truth behind his big secret, fans can enjoy hearing the clip of the forthcoming tune that’s filled with vivid imagery and powerful storytelling.
The Illinois native lets his signature vocals shine while expressing his honest emotions as he sings “To get me gone like a nowhere wind/ Gone like a pawnshop vinyl/ Gone like an old coal train/ A devil at a tent revival/ Yeah goner than that sinking sun and the red dress you had on/ Let me drink you in like whiskey/ Kiss me/ Get me/ Gone.”
This release will follow Drew Baldridge’s latest chart-rising single, “Tough People” and marks yet another look into his forthcoming album. The country star previously admitted that he spent the majority of April recording 12 new tracks in hopes of putting out a full record by the start of next year.
Baldridge is currently on the road serving as support on select dates for Bailey Zimmerman while also on the lineup of several upcoming festivals.
After wrapping up his time with Zimmerman, he will embark on his first arena tour alongside Cody Johnson. Throughout each of these treks, Baldridge will be traveling on his first-ever tour bus. This milestone purchase allows him to not only get a better night’s rest in between shows, but also gives him the extra space to bring his family out on the road.
Next up, he will make his way to St. Augustine, FL on Thursday, June 19.
Meanwhile, Roberts recently appeared at CMA Fest and continues to release new tunes such as “The Fence,” “Easy Does It,” and more.
