Rising Texas country artist Hudson Westbrook has officially announced his debut album Texas Forever, arriving July 25 via Warner Music Nashville and River House Artists. The news of the milestone project comes just 13 months after his first-ever release.
The entire 17-song track list was co-penned by Westbrook and offers a heartfelt tribute to the Lone Star State, blending small-town storytelling with true emotional depth. With themes rooted in family, young love, heartbreak, and hard-earned wisdom, Texas Forever was inspired by Westbrook’s Texas upbringing and stories that reflect the current phase of his life.
“I’m so proud of this record,” Westbrook says. “I love Texas, it’s shaped so much about who I am. We wrote 50-60 songs for this project and narrowed it down to 17 that I think really represent where I am in my life right now and what I love making as an artist: songs that sound like where I grew up, but read like something that just about anyone could relate to.”

Crafted with a tight-knit team of collaborators including Neil Medley, Lukas Scott, Reid Haughton, Andrew DeRoberts, Beau Bailey, and more, the album showcases Westbrook’s charm and raw storytelling as he captures his experience with hard work, personal struggles, young love and more.
“I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever to tell y’all about this,” he continues. “I can’t wait for you to hear it and to play it for you on the road this summer.”
Giving fans a preview of what’s to come, the album’s title track “Texas Forever” is out now. A slow-burning ballad filled with classic country imagery, the song pairs a set of poetic lyrics with fiddle-driven instrumentation. Westbrooks sings from the perspective of a someone who feels the pull of the open road, but in doing so they know they’re leaving behind a slew of memories made alongside someone who once held his heart.
He sings, “There’s some things that don’t change, like the red letters in the scripture/ There’s some things that don’t fade, when the sun shines on the picture/ Those guarantees, what’s meant to be, always go together/ Like hearts and sleeves, wild and free, you and me, and Texas forever.”
