Carly Pearce Closes Out Hummingbird World Tour With Emotional, Sold-Out Night At The Ryman

Carly Pearce closed out her 40+ date headlining hummingbird world tour on a high note. For the final show of the run, the songstress performed to a sold-out crowd at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.

The night featured surprise performances, plenty of emotional moments, and a setlist that celebrated the end of her hummingbird era, which began with the release of her critically acclaimed fourth studio album.

“We played the final night of the ‘hummingbird world tour’ at the only place I would want to, the Ryman. It was everything I wanted it to be and more,” said Pearce on Instagram as the reflected on the memorable night. “Officially closing this chapter, but I can’t tell you how excited I am for what’s next.”

This show’s set list highlighted some of Pearce’s latest career milestones including her GRAMMY-nominated “we don’t fight anymore” featuring Chris Stapleton, which was recently certified Platinum by the RIAA. She also celebrated her newly 2X Platinum single “What He Didn’t Do.” Earlier in the week, Pearce was presented plaques for the two new certifications while backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, following her tribute performance to Loretta Lynn during the Opry 100 Honors.

The fun continued throughout the night when Pearce brought out surprise musical guests. The first was Little Big Town, her tour mates on the upcoming Summer Tour ‘25 tour, who joined her in singing “Girl Crush” and “Boondocks.”

Pearce also welcomed rising artist Carter Faith, who served as direct support throughout select dates of the hummingbird World Tour. The pair of female country acts came together for a moving performance of Pearce’s GRAMMY-winning duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl.”

A particularly heartfelt moment came when the Kentucky native honored the one and only Dolly Parton with a stunning cover of “Jolene.” She then introduced the Opry’s specially-designed Dolly Parton Opry mic stand, decorated with rhinestones, butterflies, and touches of pink and purple to match her signature style. The stand was made exclusively for the Opry’s 100th anniversary celebration as a tribute to one of country music’s most iconic figures.

This was an especially important highlight of the show as Pearce’s connection to Dolly runs deep. She left home at 16 to perform at Dollywood and then had a full circle moment when Parton surprised her with her Grand Ole Opry invitation in 2021. She officially was inducted into the Opry family on August 3, 2021.

Before the GRAMMY, CMA & ACM Award-winning country star took the stage, the night began with a nod to Nashville’s songwriting community. Three acclaimed songwriters, Jordan Reynolds, Emily Weisband, and Lauren Hungate, all of whom will also appear on Pearce’s upcoming fifth studio album, kicked off the evening with an acoustic writers’ round.

Carly Pearce may have wrapped up her headlining tour, but she will be back performing in Nashville very soon. Next month, on June 7, Pearce is set to appear as a special guest at Nissan Stadium, where she’ll join Rascal Flatts for a highly anticipated on-stage collaboration.

Early on in the same day, Carly Pearce has officially announced the return of her 4th annual Carly’s Closet charity pop-up. Set to take place from 3–5 PM at Music City Center, the event will offer fans the chance to shop pieces from Pearce’s own wardrobe, including clothing, shoes, and accessories. All the proceeds will benefit the CMA Foundation.

Admission to Carly’s Closet is free and first come, first served, with no Fan Fair X ticket required. The pop-up will be cashless, accepting credit and debit card payments only. Pearce will also treat fans to a live acoustic performance during the event.
