Rascal Flatts Hint at More Tour Dates After Wrapping 25th Anniversary Run: ‘It May Not Be’ Over

Just a few short weeks ago, Rascal Flatts wrapped their sold-out Life Is A Highway Tour, marking a milestone 25th anniversary for the group. This trek included 21 stops across the country and had fans reliving their iconic hits like “Bless The Broken Road,” “I’m Moving On,” “These Days,” “What Hurts The Most,” and more.

Now that the tour is behind them, it seems the trio isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to life on the road. While speaking with Country Now backstage at the ACM Awards, they hinted at more to come, responding with a playful, “Well, it may not be,” when we mentioned how sad we were to see the tour end.

The award-winning country supergroup only has a handful of dates on the books for the remainder of the year – including a stop at CMA Fest in Nashville and an appearance at the York State Fair in York, Pennsylvania. But it appears more dates could potentially be added in the future.

“We’ve been blown away with the response this tour has gotten, being back on the road with our fans has been such a rewarding and humbling experience,” Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus previously shared. “Twenty five years of being a Rascal Flatts family has truly flown by, and it’s been such a blessing to share in that celebration with you all on this tour and feel the love!”

Currently, the trio’s main focus is on their upcoming collaboration album, LIFE IS A HIGHWAY: REFUELED DUETS

On this project, Rascal Flatts teams up with a slew of superstars to recreate the magic of some of their biggest hits. Fans already got a taste of what’s to come with the release of “I Dare You” featuring the Jonas Brothers, “Mayberry” featuring Blake Shelton and “What Hurts The Most” featuring the Backstreet Boys.

Just last week, Rascal Flatts and Backstreet Boys brought their collaboration to the ACM Awards stage, closing out the 60th Anniversary show with a medley of their hits, including “”What Hurts The Most,” “Larger Than Life,” and “Life Is A Highway.”

Carly Pearce, Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Brandon Lake, Ashley Cooke, Jordan Davis, and more will also appear on the forthcoming project.

“It was such an honor to create this project with such incredibly talented artists, it’s a pretty indescribable feeling having your colleagues and friends do your songs in such unique ways and knock your socks off with the results,” Gary LeVox shared. “This album is just another attempt for us to thank our fans for the blessings they’ve given us on this crazy journey the past 25 years, thanks for riding along with us!”

The star-studded collection arrives on June 6 via Big Machine Records.
