Cassadee is nominated for Favorite Country Female Vocalist at the People’s Choice Awards but unfortunately, Cassadee can not make it to the show and explained why in her first selfie of 2016 that she posted on Instagram. The 26 year-old singer just had her wisdom teeth removed and is still healing! Even with puffy cheeks, she still looks great!

First selfie of 2016! I wanted to thank you all SO much for the People's Choice nomination for Favorite Female Vocalist. Unfortunately, I'm still healing from my wisdom teeth surgery and won't make it to the show. I just wanted you all to know how grateful I am for you and that I'll be watching in amazement from my couch tonight. Thanks for the get well wishes, also! Love you ❤️❤️❤️
