Old Dominion Honors Their Late Friend with Emotional New Video “Miss You Man”

Old Dominion has released the official music video for “Miss You Man”, a soul-stirring tribute to their late friend and co-writer Andrew Dorff, who passed away in 2016. Frontman Matthew Ramsey leads the track with tender vocals backed by steady percussion and subtle guitar—the kind of heartfelt delivery that captures grief and gratitude all at once.

Behind the song is the quote: “Grief is the price of love,” a phrase Ramsey reflects on as he carries Andrew’s spirit forward through music. He shared, “When you hear our music… many times you are also hearing the voice of Andrew.”

“Miss You Man” is the lead single off their sixth studio album Barbara, arriving August 22, 2025. The band called it their “most personal album to date,” full of songs that explore life, loss, and the lessons carried along the way.
